This blog was inspired by the rich discussion at the ETFO Waterloo Equity & Social Justice Committee's Re-Thinking White Privilege workshop on March 30, 2015. Following the workshop, a suggestion was made that we might create some type of online community where the discussion could continue. I hope that this blog provides that space. The blog will be maintained by me, Susan Watt, and I will create the posts. Sometimes You're a Caterpillar

Thanks to Sukhsehj for sharing this lovely video called Sometimes You're a Caterpillar. It makes the issue of 'privilege' completely accessible to even our younger students. I think it could be shown to any age group though - it provides wonderful inspiration for conversation about the many different ways privilege is evident in our lives, and how we can work together to find solutions and create harmony.
